Q: iOS "Messages Logging" dialog randomly appears on home screen
The dialog says: "Messages Logging Please describe the problem briefly". I usually just Cancel, but if I type something in and tap OK, I get a confirmation dialog that says "Messages Logging Logs have been successfully captured and stored in this file: Messages-Log (my typed text appears here) (current date-time appears here).zip"
I have Background App Refresh completely turned off, so this is presumably a system service (or deeply embedded 3rd-party service). I keep my app dock pretty clear. I also have Diagnostics & Usage Data set to Don't Send, and the file name referred to by the dialog doesn't appear here (Diagnostics & Usage files all have a .ips file extension)..
I've seen this on iPhone 6s (10.0.1) and iPhone 7 (10.0.1). It has appeared when doing nothing but phone is unlocked. It has also appeared while using various (native) apps, such as Phone. There are a few mentions of this on the web, but no hints at what process is issuing these, and why.
iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.2, null
