Q: How,do,I,retrieve,calendar,data,to,my,Phone,without,duplicating,the,events,on,my ,Pad,and,Mac

I have lost all calendar events in my iPhone 5S (10.0.2) and my Mac Book Pro (OS X Yosemite 10.10.5) except those events which are recurring.  I have plenty of GB available on both.

All events still appear on my iPad Air (10.0.2) with 14.13 GB available.

How do I sync so I retrieve only the data that's lost and not duplicate the recurring events?  Which device do I use and how do I go about it.  I don't want the data to appear twice in my iPad.
