Q: Can I merge to IPhone Apple ID's?

I recently bought an I Phone.

I had one a few years ago and could not remember my username and password while at Verizon and their internet was down.

The Verizon sales person just set me up with a new one, so now I can not back up my current phone to my old ID so the contacts, etc do not update, I want one account.

Apple ID's unfortunately cannot be merged.

If you cannot remember the details of the old/previous Apple ID and password, try going here --

https://iforgot.apple.com

If that doesn't work, try reaching out to Apple at -- Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
