Q: Why won't logic pro x quit?

Once I have saved my project. I click on the x on the top left to exit the program. However, it still appears to be open. Is there a way to change this, so that clicking the x will close the program properly?Screen Shot 2016-09-27 at 17.59.19.pngScreen Shot 2016-09-27 at 17.59.38.png

    Clicking on the red Title Bar Button of a window has two possible outcomes:

    • If there are other windows open (displayed under the Window Menu), then this action will only close that window but not the Project.
    • If this is the only window open for the current Project, then the Project will close.

     

    However, if you want to quit the application (Logic Pro X), then you have to use the quit command. Cmd+Q or Main Menu Logic Pro X ➤ Quit Logic Pro X or use the Quit command from the Dock.
