how can i install a media tablet on my mac

I have an Aiptek 14000U graphics tablet which I used on my PC and now in spite of downloading the official drivers it still refuses to work so what am I doing wrong. I am running OSX Sierra

I checked the manufacturers web page, for the system requirements they only indicate:


System Requirements Hardware
System Requirements - Optical Drive (CD/DVD/Blueray)
- 1 free USB port
Windows:
Windows 8 32bit/64bit
Windows 7 32bit/64bit
Windows Vista (min. SP1) 32bit/64bit
Windows XP (min. SP2)
MAC OS X:
10.4 or above

This is allusive though as 10.4.x is about 10 years old and quite antiquated. I recommend that you contact the manufacturer and see if they have any updates that would make your graphics tablet work with current versions of OS X.
