Q: iPhone 5c Access to my apps page after swiping on ios10

Hello, I updated my iPhone 5C to ios10 and of course the first thing I noticed was the access to my app page was now a 2 step process.

1st, My Soap Box Speech: (skip if you want)

This I cannot stand and do not understand why Apple would FORCE you to go through an extra step on your own phone. Personally I do not care to view widgets every single time I swipe my phone. Even if I were to use them for say, weather or music or whatever, I still would not want to or NEED to see that extra annoying screen with the info over and over every time I just want to use my phone. I can access that stuff from my app page anyway.

So now I have been trying to find out any way of eliminating this "annoying" new feature from ios10 so that I can have access the way it used to be before I updated. I want the single swipe again to access my app page. Apparently, you can do this by Settings -  General - Accessibility - Home Button - then turning on Rest finger to unlock. IF YOU HAVE A NEWER iPhone. After navigating to the Home Button area, that option is not even there on iPhone 5c. So I am still stuck with dealing with the, swipe then press home button to get to my app pages. I would not have updated if I knew it was going to do that, as I can do with out the new stuff the update has provided so far. I have not seen anything that impressive and also I have had trouble so far accessing my "songs" on my iTunes. It said it was uploading them and never finished the uploading.

I love Apple iPhones and products, but find this very annoying.

If anyone has any information on how I can get rid of the widget screen after swiping, please reply.
