apple watch 3.0 where are my contacts

Under watchOS 3, the Friends feature (which was available under prior versions) is no longer included and there is no direct replacement for it.

When placing calls or sending new messages, contacts can instead be selected via the Phone and Messages apps or by using Siri:

If you preferred using Friends (which provided fast access to selected contacts in prior versions of watchOS) and would like Apple to consider restoring it in some form or other to watchOS 3, you can submit a feature request here:
