two factor verification

Trying to log into iCloud - asked to verify by entering a six digit code into 'a different device'!

Great! Happy with that, except neither my iPhone or iPad are interested in providing me with a place to enter the code and thus verify my logging in - so I'm Stuffed!

Nice one - anyone tell me how the heck I get out ion this one please...?
