OSX Mail Cannot See Gmail Inbox

Good afternoon!

I'm having some difficulties with my Gmail inbox in OSX Mail.app. I have some messages in my Inbox (i.e. with the 'Inbox' label on Gmail), but those show up in Mail.app as being in my "All Mail" folder and are not recognized as being in the inbox.

This causes the following behavior:

• Messages deleted on my work machine (running Outlook) still show up in my Inbox in OSX (in 'All Mail' folder)
• Turning off the "Show in IMAP" checkbox for the label "All Mail" eliminates EVERYTHING from ALL Gmail mailboxes.

In short, I cannot get Mail.app to recognize "Inbox" items from "Archived" items. Any ideas?
