Q: Beach Ball- Slow Computer -Apps Taking A lot Of Space

I own a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) 8Gb Ram 1600MHz DDR3- 2.6GHz Intel Core i5- Intel Iris 1536 MB. It seems to be running slower and beach balling here and there. I also noticed I have 120GB of storage. It says my Apps take up 80.57, Audio 14.21, Movies 5.92, Photos 3.19 and backups are 278.5 MB. That seems like a ton of space taken up for apps. Here is my etrecheck report. Please help.
