Sep 27, 2016 4:47 PM in response to macdonjo3by LuxLuther,Hi,
Here are the general tips for battery life
https://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/
Your profile says iPhone 4 and iOS 6, but I assume that you have a newer iPhone. If you have iOS 9 or 10 you can see the details of what uses your battery the most.
If resetting you might consider backing up to iTunes and restoring as new to see if the issue persists.
You could also chat AppleCare and ask them to run a battery diagnostic to confirm if it is a hardware issue or not. If it isn't a hardware issue, you can resolve it by software troubleshooting, as mentioned above.
I hope these help!

Sep 27, 2016 4:48 PM in response to macdonjo3by raymond73,why I'm responsible to pay to have it fixed?
Because your phone is out of warranty if it is more than a year old. If less than a year old, or you have Applecare+, take the device straight to an Apple store.
You may want to try to force restart your device by holding the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. If that does not work connect to a computer running iTunes and restore as a new phone. If that fails do a DFU restore. If you are still having issues take your phone to an Apple store and have the phone evaluated. You may just require a replacement battery which Apple will do for the device. Worst case is that you can get an out of warranty replacement for significantly less than the cost of a new device. Do NOT have a third party, or yourself, open the device as totally eliminates an out of warranty replacement.

It may not be hardware, and if it is a software issue you can probably resolve it for free.
