Advice on computer for photo editing.
Currently we have a 2010 MBP with a thunderbolt display. Most likely we will be selling the display and keeping the MBP for doing work on off hours, just email and maybe some light editing. Or selling both and just getting an iPad to do email and correspondence and leaving the editing for the studio.
We do Wedding Photography/video and will be using Lightroom and PS CC on this machine.
I want something with a fast graphics card and processor. Dont need a Mac Pro. Were not going to be using it for video.
I would like to weigh out some pros and cons with:
27" iMac Retina 5k - 4.0ghz i7quad, 16gb ram, 512gb flash, amd Radeon R9 M395 with 2gb Video memory.
comes in at $2950.
for $250 there is the AMD R9 M35x with 4gb video memory. Would this be beneficial in rendering previews in lightroom?
