Q: my playlist disappeared from my mac?

my computer automatically updated i guess , i went into my music library and all the cps i had previously burned onto my computer are gone!! and my play list are gone too. can anyone help?

    Updated from what to what?

    Is any media still in your iTunes library?

    Are you logged into your account?

     

    See if you can find them in your iTunes library:

    You can find where your iTunes songs are stored on your hard drive by first going to your Users folder (inside your hard drive folder). Double-click on your user folder and then again on the Music folder. Inside the Music folder there should be a folder named iTunes.

     

    Last would be to restore the media from backup
