Q: My wall chargers, (for iPhone and iPad) keep getting super hot when plugged in and charging. Also, I'm replacing my charging cables every few months. Is this normal? It's exspensive to keep replacing these!

OK, here's my problem. I have  an IPhone 6+, an IPad4, an IPad Pro, an an IMac.

im having a problem with my wall chargers becoming extremely hot while plugged and and charging, and my charging cables stop charging after a few months.  This problem is becoming an expensive problem, and I'm afraid to leave my electronics plugged in, for fear they're going to get fried.

anyone have an answer, suggestion???  They are all using the new lighting charger and cables.

Will appreciate any help you might be able to provide.

Thank you in advance.

not normal at all I would say a defect ac charger and you should be lucky it didn't fry the ios device if it drew enough power to get superheat and melt the cable at the same time

I still have an use every single ios cable I ever owned both pin30 and lightning same with ac chargers
