Q: how do i transfer raw iPhone 7 plus photos to lightroom in mac?

i have taken some images with the built in camera and other third party cameras that support raw files and when i tried to transfer them to my macbook (lightroom) they turn out jpegs.

Check the settings on this third party app. If there are Raw files on the Camera Roll the LR will see them.

ok so yea the only way to transfer raw files are by using third party apps that supports them, but using the buit in camera will not allow you to transfer them, even using the portrait mode. hopefully apple can fix that soon.

Huh? The built-in camera has no role in transferring anything. What has portrait mode to do with anything? Check the settings on this app and if necessary seek assistance from the makers.
