Q: iTunes 12.5.1 does not show rented movie

iTunes 12.5.1 on Windows 10 does not show rented movies for download.

Notes.

1. iTunes 12.5.1.21 installed successfully.
2. My iTunes account shows the movie under purchases, and my credit card account shows the payment.
3. iTunes show a dialog advising that the movie is already rented when I attempt to rent the movie again.
4. The Rented category (Library Rented Unwatched Store) is not appearing when Movies are selected on the iTunes menu bar, as it would if I had no current rentals...but I do!
5. The movie does not appear in the list when I "Check for available Downloads".  There are other purchases that do appear in the list.
6. I have downloaded ITunes again and run a "repair".
7. I have also logged out of my iTunes account, existed iTunes, restarted Windows and logged back in to my iTunes account. No change.
8. I also note that the so called Windows 10 Anniversary Update has been installed by Microsoft. Coincidence?
