Q: Imported iPhone video is wrong orientation

I've just updated iPhone to os10.0.2 and running osX Yosemite 10.10.5 on an iMac.

I shot a couple of short videos on the phone, plugged it in to the Mac and clicked import in photos. I checked the "delete after import box" which is what I usually do to save room on the iPhone.

I shot the videos landscape but Photos has rotated it 90° clockwise and now I can't rotate it back. You can't rotate the video in Photos and it doesn't seem to let you find the file on the mac to open it in iMovie or Quicktime. I've tried sharing to iCloud but that failed for some reason - probably disc space I'm guessing.

As I say, I've deleted it on the iPhone, so now I seem to be a bit up the creek! Anyone else had this? Any advice?
