Q: iCloud storage size doesn't add up

Previously I was backing up 2 devices iPhone and iPad. Then I ran into a question of not enough size, so I deleted iPad backup.

At the moment. The size of my iCloud drive is almost full.

I tried to delete unnecessary backups, but for some reason the numbers don't add up.

When I click Manage the total calculated size is about 2.3 GB.

Since the apps and sizes go in descening order, it's easy understand that top apps that use up size are listed here.

The Backups - is the iPhone backup. When I delete it here are results:

Now the backup size shows for some reason backup size of 2.6 Gb. But nothing to delete:

What am I not seeing? Is there a way o delete unused space?

A couple of things I'm failing to comprehend.  Referencing your second picture, you said "the total calculated size is about 2.3 GB", however the accompanying picture only shows 183.23 MB.

Your last statement, you ask "what am I not seeing?"  What exactly are you expecting to see?  You could, if you wish, delete that last backup to added space.

The 1st picture shows 183 MB available (out of 5 Gb). Even though calculated size says only 2,3 Gb occupied.

The second picture, after I deleted the biggest file in the list, shows 2,19 gb available. And 2,6 Gb backup occupied, even there are no files to delete.

And calculated size without backup is about 300 mb. So to my calculations I should have about 4,7 GB available.

I hope this explains it better.

Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?

Yes I have. Signed out on all devices and then signed back in. Anyone has this problem?

Or does anyone know how to wipe clean icloud storage? I can redo all the backups.
