Q: greyed out area Logic Pro?

I've Logic Pro X

There is a track that is greyed out and even when I solo it it won't play any ideas?

You probably have a region that is greyed out. Select it and hit ctrl-M, that should unmute it.

You can also use the right- or ctrl-click menu:

How do I get that region like you demonstrated to show up?
I hit ctrl-M and it put the file away (minimised it)...

Minimize is cmd-M. Mute/unmute is ctrl-M.
