Q: Mail search use then cannot return to inbox

hi guys

when I search for an email in mail app, then use or work on that found email, I then try to return to my inbox. The inbox option is not available and a swipe from the left does nothing? Anyone find the same problem or know what's wrong with it?

It is an iPad Air 2 with iOS 10
