I have a Barclay Visa with Apple rewards. They have sent me 3 gift cards so far and all 3 cards are UNABLE to be redeemed. I have tried to enter the cards with the camera and manually. Each time I get an error that says, "You must enter a valid code".
Has anyone else had the same issue? If so, how did you resolve it? I'm thinking that maybe Barclay didn't activate them. I have contacted Barclay and still waiting on a response from them.

I had the same issue as well, I figured out that the cards Barclay sends are not redeemable in the apps or iTunes, but in purchasing through the apple store itself. So you have to buy products through apple, not on the apps store.

I'm having the same problem. The web site recognizes the value of the gift cards but they do not show up on checkout. I don't expect to find such poor implementation on an Apple web site but here it is. I have no idea how to apply these cards to an App store purchase.
