Q: Help with exporting tracks as MIDI

I'm having issues exporting the tracks in my session as MIDI (so that the MIDI files are the same length). I know I'm supposed to put a MIDI message at the first bar on each track but I'm not sure how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    make sure the regions on each track are continuous and the same size.

     

    if its a software instrument you can use the event list and insert a program change

     

    if its an external instrument - you can set the instrument in the track region inspector and under functions select insert midi instrument as event..
