Q: Macbook Pro Retina FileVault issue

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) with 8GB RAM and i7 processor (3.1Ghz) and started having an issue when rebooting with the built in keyboard and trackpad not working to be able to log into OS X El Capitain.  The keystroke would lag about 20 to 30 seconds before a character would appear on screen and the trackpad was unresponsive with some movement registering after about 20 seconds as well.  The time to get to the login screen from boot was also much longer.  This also made startup commands very difficult to invoke.   If I plug in an apple keyboard (from my other iMac) I am able to login and once logged in there are no issues with either the built in keyboard or trackpad.

I wiped the drive and did clean install of El Capitain to eliminate any 3rd party drivers and software conflicts.  I was able to determine the issue was caused by FileValut on reboot.  Once turning it off the MacBook reboots and logs in normally with the built in keyboard and trackpad operating normally from boot through login.

Recently I upgraded to Mac OS Sierra and opted to install FileVault.  Once I rebooted the same issue arose.  Turning off FileVault allows me to bypass the issue and have normal reboots.  I would like to have FileVault turned on especially when I travel, but worried I may get stuck should I need to reboot or the laptop reboots itself.  I have logged several case issues on this with support but thought I would post the problem to see if others have had similar issues and potentially a fix.
