Q: Siri cannot hear commands IPhone 6 IOS 10

Since upgrading my Iphone 6 to IOS 10.0.1, Siri can no longer hear any commands.

I've disabled Siri and re-enabled as well as rebooted the phone.  I tested to make sure the voice recorder works, talk to text works, and speaker phone all work.  When connected to a bluetooth head set, Siri can hear the commands, but when using the phone's microphone, Siri does not respond.

IOS update to 10.0.2 did not resolve the issues with Siri.  Looks like it may be a software related issue as the phones hardware is working properly.

    Hello EOrtizJr,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to keep your iOS devices running as expected, and I'd like to help get Siri working again.  You've got a good start with the troubleshooting you've already done. From here what I'd recommend is resetting the settings in your iPhone.

What this effectively does is reset some of your settings to factory default. This does not remove any data like apps, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Touch ID, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy, so you'll have to set those things back up after this reset. This doesn’t affect your data; all of your content will remain intact.

You may still wish to backup your settings data to iTunes or iCloud before doing this reset. This link will guide you through backing up if you choose to do so : How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

To do this please go to Settings >  General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

If the behavior persists, or you run into any trouble, the entire community is here to help.
    Best Regards
