IPHONE WILL NOT BACK UP TO ICLOUD

My iPhone will not back up to iCloud even though I have plenty of storage. It says it has not been backed up in a year yet it won't back up now.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Did you try to turn off iCloud backup and then turn it back on in Settings>iCloud>Backup?

Also check this help page: If iCloud Backup couldn’t be completed or you can’t restore - Apple Support
