Q: bootcamp 5 and windows 7 or windows 10

Hello!

I have got some problems about using Windows 7 i recently installed in normal way i am used to. But now something has seem to be changed... i see some weird behaviors just now, for example i cannot see any updates of the Windows just only the search bar... and the download speed is soo slow... i do not understand. I have installed all support software for Windows 7 i downloaded from apple page for my version of my iMac model.

I was wondering if i am able to run the upgrade to Windows 10 from my Windows 7 (i have got BootCamp 5) i run Mac OSX Mavericks and i can have only this version 5 installed on my Mac OSX (i cannot upgrade to Yosemite or so because of my applications)

Am i able to upgrade windows 10 from Windows 7 i have already installed? In fact i have bootcamp 5 on Mac OSX? and i cannot have bootcamp 6...

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), null

If you install W10, you will also need to upgrade BC drivers to BC6.x as appropriate for your Mac year/model. What year/model is your Mac?

If you want to stay with Mavericks, then you need an in-place W10 upgrade. You will also need Brigadier (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier) get the WindowsSupport.dmg for your Mac using the Model Identifier.

this seem to be very very dificult to me to do that by myself... i was wondering if somewhere on the internet is some pack with drivers to download, or i would be able to download via software updates in windows... after update...

If you need BC6 drivers then the older BC Assistant 5.x will not download W10 drivers.

You can install Yosemite on an external disk as a test and check the supported versions of Windows in BC Assistant.

Please see How to install OS X on an external drive connected to your Mac - Apple Support .

i reinstaled windows once again and used the other way... (i created windows installation usb disc via boot camp assistant)  the problem seems to be very same. After instalation of the drivers i cannot download updates for windows and any downloads dropped on very few kilobites... i do not understand, i have wireless connection via apple time capsule but i tries wired connection as well, no changes...

Please, tel me what i am doing wrong? I past years i used to use windows normarly on my iMac (Mavericks). I cannot use it now.

I reinstalled windows 7, it really screw me up! I never seen this behavior before... i cannot simply download anything... because it drops after few kilobites, i cannot update system, it's legal... What all this means?

Does W7 behave the same on wireless and wired connection, both?

yes it does, i did it once again to be sure... this is really bad news to me... i entered windows 7 time to time in past... and now there must be something wrong about network in windows 7, on Mac OSX Mavericks there isn't any problem. Please give me some suggestions.

Under Control Panel -> Device Manager, if you expand Network Adapters, what are the drivers for the Ethernet and Wireless adapters?

i checked it and under wireless adapter i see: Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet

under ethernet adapter i see: network adapter Broadcom 802.11n

to be honest it doesn't tell me anything.

I was thinking about the solution, maybe i can try to do network reinstallation to Mountain Lion > install Windows 7 via Bootcamp 4 and than i can upgrade Mac osx back to Mavericks if it was fix that.

But than... what if it has not been affected by Bootcamp and its drivers but by windows side instead?! This seem to be stuck on the place without hard tests...
