Camera roll out of order

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to the iPhone 7. When activating my new iPhone, i restored settings from a backup that was saved from my previous iPhone, and now my photos in my camera roll album are all out of order. They are in chronological order in the Moments, but not in camera roll, which is very frustrating. Is anyone else having the same issue and is their a fix for this? So frustrating.
