Q: iOS10 music library sorting issue

I have upgraded my iPhone to iOS10.  No matter what sort order I take in the music app, it always comes up in artist order.  Is this an undocumented feature and if so is there a work around for it?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

    Hi DanWhite0526,

I see that you're unable to change the sort order of the music on your iPhone using the Music app. I'm happy to help you with this.

I'd like to confirm that you're taking the following steps to change your sort order:

Sort albums and songs. Go to Settings > Music to sort albums or songs by artist or title.

    Library - iPhone

If you notice that changing the sort order is not reflected in the Music app, try restarting your device using the instructions outlined here:
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

    All the best!

Thanks for this answer it 'sorted' my problem. I would never have thought to look in settings for this.

I also had an issue with the music app freezing as I scrolled down the songs list. This was also cured after I changed this setting.
