Q: How to disconnect call from lock screen in iOS10

Until iOS 9.x, after I am done talking , I was able to disconnect the call by clicking "Power" button. But after upgrade to iOS 10, Power button does not end the call, and on lock screen I do not have any option to end the call.

I am using iPhone 7 on iOS 10.02

    Hi dsapra,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Community! I understand that you're unable to end a call by pressing the Sleep/Wake button on your iPhone. Having this feature available is certainly convenient, and I'm happy to offer some help.

The behavior you're describing isn't normal behavior; you should still be able to end a call by pressing the Sleep/Wake button. The first step that I recommend to try is restarting your iPhone. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're still having trouble after restarting, I would recommend to reinstall iOS on your iPhone. This should not affect any of your data, but it is always a best practice to make sure you have a current backup in either iTunes or iCloud. How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Once you have a current backup, follow the steps from the "If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up" section in this article: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on

These steps will reinstall iOS. Keep in mind that these steps were written for a different issue, but they will still help us isolate the situation further.

    Cheers!
