Q: changing my password

I am trying to change my password on my Mac computer but no matter what I am trying that is suggested it will not work. How can I as the owner of my mac change my password? Does Apple has an online support / chat that I can get instant help?

Password for what?
If you mean the loagin PW then:
For Lion and later:
OS X Mavericks and later: How to Easily Reset the Administrator Password

For Snow Leopard and earlier with installer DVD

     Mac OS X 10.6- If you forget your administrator password,
