Why won't videos play since iOS 10 update without rebooting device daily

I thought I was missing my alarm, glad to know it's not me! I can't playback videos on my iPad either. I shot a short clip myself yesterday and can't even play that back. I emailed the clip to my husband who has a Microsoft phone and he could play it, no problems.

My iPhone 7 is not having any problems (touch wood), but it is very frustrating. On my iPad, I can view some YouTube videos, but can't figure out the difference between the ones I can and can't play. I can't play any video clip through Facebook.

Serves me right for not waiting to update. I hoped that 10.2 would fix, but it's still the same.

Too many glitches lately, it's not like these pieces of kit are cheap!

DId you ever resolve the issues you were having?

I get constant freezes when playing videos on my iPad . I've disabled the auto play function on Facebook but anytime I visit a web page with video content the device freezes. I can close the cover to get to the lock screen and then the device recovers. Well , I can use it until the error occurs again. Making my iPad pretty unusable at the moment

I am having a similar problem with my I Phone 7 its updated to ios 11.1.1. All the videos i record through its cam or save from memories in photos app stops working after a day or two and all i see is an icon moving in circles thats it.

Apple must work on it and provide a solution

Same for me! And the phone doesn't always ring when I get a call. I'm a physician on night call and almost slept through a call!

Im still having issues despite recent update it is intermittent but still annoyinh

Since the update to ios 10.1.1 some videos on YouTube (through Safari browser) do not start playing and the black charging lign froze, the first solution is to reboot the iPhone (mine is 5c (5,4)) the other solution is to lock the screen while playing the video and then unlock it... Will the next update bring solutions ??!!

I'M having the same problem on both iphone and ipad. No videos except on the facebook app. Has nobody addressed this yet?

The same happens to me on an iPhone 7... seems like a horrible bug... is there any information whether they are working on it?

I am tired of restarting the phone every time.... That's inexcusable for a device as expensive and 'high-quality' as these apple products
