You can track if its still turned on or go to iCloud .com on your PC .

If you had a passcode on the device, no, they cannot access your info.
You can track the device if you have turned on Find My iPhone before the device was lost. Tracking it requires all of the following to apply. Find My iPhone has to have been activated prior to the theft/loss, the device has to be powered on, and the device has to have an active connection to the internet. If any of those is not present, then you cannot track the device. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

TThey didn't find my iPad mini thank God have tried tracking but just shows the mini on map not the big IPad they stole
