I have a IPhone 6 and I just got the new software update IOS 10.0.2 and my phone is not allowing me to use or see my messages and it keeps freezing my phone. Why is this happening and what can I do?

Once you're done, try opening up the Messages app to check if there are still any problems. If the issue persists, I'd recommend that you restart your device as a next step using the instructions found here:

If you still notice an issue after restarting, I'd suggest that you reinstall iOS. Before the reinstall, it's recommended that you back up your data. Take a look at this article that goes over this process:
