I used to be able to see my shared albums within Photo. This allowed me to see recent posts to the albums and upload to the shared albums directly from Photo. With an inadvertent keystroke or two I accidentally removed those albums from my folder list. How can I restore them? None of my other apple ID or iCloud settings have changed. Thanks!

Have you looked in the Recently Deleted folder under Albums?
Great idea! I just looked, but don't have any albums in my recently deleted items, only a few photos (some older than when I lost my shared albums, so they didn't expire).
You may want to consider recreating the shared photo album -- iCloud Photo Sharing - Apple Support
It is unlikely, that you deleted the shared album accidentally. You would have to ctrl-click the album in the sidebar and use the command "Delete Shared Album". And you cannot select more than one Shared Album at a time.
Perhaps you have hidden the Shared albums in the sidebar? There is a hidden "Show/Hide" control to the right of the title "Shared" in the sidebar. Hover the cursor to the right of the title to make this visible and click the word "Show". Does that bring your Shared Albums back?
Or did you disable iCloud Photo Sharing in the Photos > Preferences > iCloud?
