Q: How to access a partitioned drive after system fail

I had a MacPro that suffered a hardware failure. In the MacPro, I had a 2 TB HDD partitioned into two volumes.

And a three (3) disk software RAID for my Time Machine backup (I thought the disks would fail before the hardware).

How can I access any of the data on these drives? I have tried using a SATA - to - USB adapter on my MacMini, but nothing mounts from any of these drives.

I have so much data on these drives, I hope all is not lost.

you may be able to download a demo of Data Rescue 4, and the demo will give you an idea of what it can recover. If it looks promising, you then can buy the software.

However, you may also need a disk utility app like Disk Warrior.

Does Disk Utility show the correct parameters for the disk?
