Q: Mail not responding properly
I just migrated from 10.8 to 10.11 (El Capitan) and Mail is unable to log on to my accounts. It was working properly just before the migration but not afterwards. I am on Time Warner Cable with RoadRunner as an ISP.
The primary reason for moving to El Capitan was the new TLS definitions which are now needed for most websites.
I remember have a problem the first time I went to El Capitan but since it bombed on several of my "moved" documents, I did not know about the Migrate From capability, and was forced back to 10.8 but do not remember what the problem was. I am reasonably use it is a TLS issue but do not know what to do to fix it.
The other problem is that the email address of use and backup are the ones not logging on properly.
Since I am on MDT (Mountain Daylight time +6) and it is late will probably not be back on to check her until about 1500gmt.
