Oct 1, 2016 10:18 PM in response to jeunghunby MattThorn,I have the same problem! Since I upgraded to Sierra, Dictionary.app crashes constantly. I searched the net but haven't found a solution. In fact, this page is the first mention I have found that mentions the problem. It's annoying because I use the app many times every day in my work.

Oct 21, 2016 2:21 AM in response to jeunghunby makoto2001,★HelpfulI experienced same issue, too. And I found that the issue is dictionary dependent. It must be caused by multilingual character processing. When I only select "New Oxford American Dictionary" and "Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus," the issue has gone away.

Oct 21, 2016 2:32 AM in response to makoto2001by jeunghun,In my case, I have tried them but still have problem. But I am pretty sure that it happens with multiple choice. I think single choice of for example "New Oxford American Dictionary" don't crash my dictionary but when I choose any two, it happens.
Thanks
