MY granddaughter downloaded the update for her iPod but it took too long when it was installing it..she thought it was frozen, so she did a hard reset.. now it says to connect to iTunes ... but when I connected it to my iTunes on my computer I repeatedly get an error message of: Unknown error occured (-39)make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later. This has shown up about 7 times.
