Q: Contact and Phone App issue after iOS 10.0.2 update

I understand that you're unable to view the Favorites section of the Phone app without it freezing. Additionally, I see that you're intermittently losing all contacts from the Contacts app, but you're able to resolve this by restarting your iPhone. I'm certainly happy to help with these issues!
If you haven't already, I'd recommend that you force close both the Contacts and the Phone app and then see if you can reproduce the two issues you're experiencing. I see that you have already tried restarting your device to address the missing contacts issue. Does the Phone app still freeze in the Favorites section after trying this? If you are still seeing this problem after forcing these apps to close and restarting your device, I'd recommend that you reinstall iOS as a next step. It's important that you have a back up of your data before you proceed:
