Q: Now OS 10.12 retains pages-tef extension even on local drive and doesn't show the extension at all.

Now MacOS 10.12 retains pages-tef extension even when the file is on (or moved to) local drive and doesn't show the extension. (10.11 and earlier used to hide the extension only on iCloud.)

And I haven't been able to rename pages-tef doc file names directly on finder for so long. It gives "Are you sure you want to remove the extension .pages-tef?" error when I try to rename a file, and if I go on it will remove the original extension and the file will have neither .pages or pages-tef extension, transforming it into an unusable folder. So I have to "Get info" and rename there every time I want to rename a file.

This problem has been so persistent and driving me nuts for so long. It's getting worse and worse with OS updates.

macOS Sierra (10.12), iWork Pages 09
