Q: Macbook Pro with 2860qm : is 32gb possible?
I noticed that 16GB single stick memory modules now appear to be available for the MacbookPro late 2011 form factor.

According to Intel, the 2860QM part used in the quad-core i7 Macbook Pro supports up to 32GB of RAM.

This raises the obvious question of whether it is possible to use the 16GB modules in the late 2011 Macbook Pro to increase total RAM to 32GB. Has anybody tested to verify if this does or does not work? Or is there a technical reason that this would be prohibited?
Just curious how much more life can be squeezed out of Sandy Bridge machines. After adding SSD and boosting RAM to 16GB it is already much quicker.
