Thanks for posting your question in the Apple Support Community! I understand you're not seeing the buttons you normally do on the screen after a call ends. I rely on my iPhone everyday and I would certainly want to make sure that my Phone app was working as expected. I'm happy to offer some direction.
I recommend to start by closing the Phone app and then trying to relaunch it.
Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
You can also try restarting your iPhone, then test out the Phone functionality again.

PS I already restarted my iPhone...

This should not affect any of your data, but it is always a best practice to make sure you have a current backup in either iTunes or iCloud. How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This reset will reset your device settings including Wallpaper, Display & Brightness, Touch ID & Passcodes, Apple Pay, Restrictions, iMessage and FaceTime Registration, Sounds & Ringtones, Date & Time, Background App Refresh, and Wi-Fi networks and settings. You'll want to make sure you have your Wi-Fi password available to reconnect.
To reset your settings go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings. Once your iPhone restarts, you'll need to set your preferences back up, but be sure to test out your issue.
