Yesterday I was using my iPhone 6 Plus and noticed a red hue/stain spot, over the signal bars, on the top left of the screen.
After some investigating and simple steps to try and resolve the issue, I noticed that the hue spot disappeared when I turned off Night Shift.
This might be an iOS 10.0.2 bug, but I'm not sure.
Any ideas/help on fixing this?

If you see lines, missing sections, discoloration, or poor image quality
- Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, force restart your device.
- If this doesn't work, restore your device.
- If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

It has been quite some time since this thread started, but I'm writing to finally close it.
The "stain"/hue spot was there even with Night Shfit turned off, but it was very hard to spot on anything other than a yellow image.
Nothing I could do resolved the issue so I took my phone to an Authorized Apple Repair/Service Center and my phone was replaced.
This seems to be a very isolated issue, since as of now I have only heard of 2 other cases and one of them is here, on this thread.

Same issue but it's a new phone to me, so I can't say whether it happens on earlier iOS versions
If you look closely, though, it's somewhat there with night shift turned off, but it transitions so quickly so it's much harder to notice

I would really like to know if this is a 10.0.2 Night Shift bug before restoring, since such process would not be the most convenient to me as of now.
Has anyone else seen this and is it a bug?
Meanwhile, I restored the iPhone through iTunes. No difference. Even did a DFU restore, everything was the same.
Now I'm even beginning to notice what I thought was a bug/background anomaly because it wasn't very noticeable in white backgrounds: a small backlighting imperfection.
I will be taking my phone to an Authorized Apple Repair Center around here and will report back with the findings.
Hello what happend to the red hue on the upper left edge of your iPhone 6s+? Mine the more warmer the night shift the more red hue on my iPhone? Is this a bug? How to fix this?
