Q: why iPhone only stores call history up to a week only
Hi ,
I recently migrated to iOS with iPhone 6s from Android.
Earlier I had an android Xiaomi Mi3.
I have found a missing feature in iPhone which is kind off an important one.
Why can't I access call records that happened like 3 weeks ago or may be a month ago ?
In my old phone all call record were intact from the day I started using that phone , also they were synced with phone's backup , as I have done factory reset of that phone couple of times .Still they were all there . (I used it for 2 years and it still have the first call I made from that phone).
Also please enable T9 search in dial pad , it's only gonna make dialing easier .
Also in Mi3 if you dial an unknown number , as you start dialing it starts looking for it in call records and immediately shows you whether you have ever dialed this number or not.
Also , if there is a miss call from any one , it also showed how many times it rang before disconnecting .
these little information helps a lot .
iPhones are great phones , it's my first iPhone and i really think this small feature must be there.
I don't like to save every number I get a call from but I remember when the call happened , so it will be great if I can look on call history to get that number.
It's a basic feature , it's like using those Old Nokia phone where only 7 days of call records can be stored .
