Is there any way to bypass the login and password screen? Using Sierra

iMac 27-inch 2010 i5. Using macOS Sierra. Is there anyway to bypass the login and password screen for a administrator. When mac is idle for 10 to 15 minutes, the login screen appears and I have to login all the time.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), i5 processor 32gb ram

go to > Apple > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > unlock the preference panel

and un-check "Require password _____ after sleep or screensaver begins"

That is the one used to prevent having to enter your password after waking the display from screen-lock/sleep.

If you have both the computer and the display sleep set for 15 min...?

Then:

1. Set "Computer sleep" to an hour or more and leave "Display sleep" set to 15mim.

this way only the display will sleep while your up and away for a short time

Or:

2. Completely "Disable automatic login" which I believe requires a restart.

which is OK for home use in most cases, but not OK in an office enviorment
