Q: after phone restore, screen has vertical grey bands on startup and is sporadically unresponsive

it is a new phone and i tried to back up the latest version from my laptop, which if i am not wrong is 9.3.3

problem is, when i check for updates in itunes, it says the iphone software update server could not be contacted. i obviously have working internet, but the update server just cannot be connected

i went to apple service centre today and they've taken back the phone because they suspect hardware problems with the screen. and why i couldn't connect to itunes server is because of proxy servers. i will wait for the repaired phone to come back and see how it goes.

please don't jump to conclusions next time...
