Have apple watch do a haptic buzz when meeting has started

I have Office 365 at work using Exchange for emails and calendar. Is there a way I could set up apple watch to notify you when the meeting has actually started using the haptic feature?

Currently, I get the 15 minute reminder on my apple watch but it would be nice to get a haptic buzz or high ping sound when the meeting has started.

Thanks in advance.

It could be because it is an Exchange invite. My calendar events show Second Alert just under Alert, and do not show Private under Show As.

What happens if you attempt to create a test even on the calendar on the phone without it being an invite, just a single event for yourself in calendar. Do you see both alert options? Are you using the iPhone's native calendar, or the Outlook app?

If you are syncing your calendar to your iPhone, which in turn would allow it to be seen on the watch, you have the ability to see a number of alerts, and one of them is "At the Time of the Event", which is when you have it set to start in calendar. You can set these alerts on your phone, and then ensure you have the watch set to mirror your phone for calendar.

If you go to the calendar event, select it and select edit. Scroll down to Alert. There are a number of selections in Alert, and one of them is "At the Time of the Event". If you set the event up in Outlook, there is a selection for Reminder, and that also includes a reminder at the time of the event, but since Outlook counts in time, it is the one that says "0 minutes".

Oh, I see what you are saying. It will not work for me because I do like the 15 minute warning and so do the folks that I invite to the meeting as I don't think they want that changed. As most of us experienced when you are working that 15 minutes warning seems to zip by and would like to have the haptic buzz and that high pitch ping sound to remind me that the meeting has started.

Is your default calendar the Exchange calendar? Have you tried to change calendars to just use the phone calendar itself? I have more than one calendar on my device, and one is an iCloud calendar, and just above where you see Invitees on your screen, I have the option to select the calendar to add the event to. I believe again this restriction has to do with your using an Exchange calendar.
