Q: iOS 10 Alarm Clock?

With the new update, the alarm clock on my phone no longer functions. No matter what time I set the alarm to, if I exit out of the app or keep it open watching it, it won't go off. As well as with the timer. I've watched the timer count down and then it just exits back to the screen to set the timer, without an alarm of any type going off. Also, if I set the timer, and then attempt to turn on an alarm, it will turn the timer off completely.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

    Hello JBake0602,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that after updating to iOS 10.0.2, your alarm clock is no longer going off and neither is the timer. When you open the Clock app and tap Timer, what does it say next to When Timer Ends? If it says Stop Playing, you will want to tap Stop Playing and change the sounds to another of the sounds listed. When you create an alarm, make sure the Sound is not set to None. If it is tap None and choose one of the other sounds in the list.

    Best Regards.

Same issue. Iphone 6s with iOS 10.0.2

When timer ends = any sound set and want it won't ring when timer ends

If timer counting down, go to alarm tab, all are switched off, turn one on and it turns off timer

Alarm also does not ring AT ALL. no sound no vibration

make more than one alarm and turn one on the other(s) turns off

    RESTORED phone twice, no better

This is a basic feature of a phone and I cannot believe that Apple did not find this bug during beta testing AND now that they know it is an issue (see how many posts are on support forums about this), why they can't push an update ASAP since this is mission critical function

Same issue. Iphone 5s with 10.0.2

I have exactly the same issue you have. I tried the same solution and ended up three restores from different backups. But, no luck. I really ran out off everything mentioned as a solution.

There should be a minor update to address this issue. How could they ignore all of the users faceing exactly the same problem?
