Q: Help - cannot see cameras remotely

We have been viewing our cameras remotely for 3 years. Set up Airport Extreme 802.11n and it was working beautifully until a couple of days ago at which time we are unable to view remotely. What could have happened all of a sudden. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this. Thanks.

    The AE can autonomously decide to change settings.. I would reset it to factory and make sure it is set correctly and the port forwarding configured correctly so you can view the cameras..

     

    If you run into trouble give us full details of the network.

     

    What modem.. make and model?

     

    Is it a router or bridged or a pure modem?

     

    How is the AE configured?

     

    All of those things are needed.

     

    How do you pickup the public IP remotely? Are you using BTMM or some DynDNS method?

     

    Did you update firmware on the Extreme? If so there are changes to the domain handling.
