Q: Has bluetooth connectivity gotten bad since the Sierra update?

I used to have connection issues with my 2016 samsung soundbar/subwoofer combo on occasion but now its horrible sometimes. Very choppy. Most of the time on El Capitan it was fine. The soundbar is the latest model and works great. I think its either that the school wifi has gotten worse or something is up with my MacBook Pro. I now have to test it first then sometimes disconnect and reconnect before starting a Netflix episode.

I just want to know if this is a software issue and if other people are experiencing this problem with their bluetooth speakers on MacBook Pros.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

I've had a similar problem with a Zik headset and Sierra. Sometimes when I turn it on the microphone in it doesn't work. If I turn off BT on the Mac, then turn it back on, it fixes it for a while.
